Newstalk signs national deal

RADIO station Newstalk 106-108FM has signed a 10-year licence to become Ireland’s first national commercial talk-radio station.

The station will be available nationwide from next Friday.

Newstalk chairman Denis O’Brien said: “Newstalk has established itself as a real alternative talk-radio service over the last four years.”
