LBS enters Irish lending market

THE Independent Mortgage Advisers Federation (IMAF) has teamed up with Leeds Building Society (LBS) to become the 13th lender enter the Irish market.

The deal will mean that Leeds Building Society will market its products through two broker networks exclusively — IMAF and the IFG Network.

Leeds Building Society has assets of £7.1 billion (€10.5bn) and lent £1.7bn (€2.5bn) in 2005. They have 57 retail branches in Britain and have recently opened an operation in Spain lending in euro currency.
