Shared services discussed

THE Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) hosted their first employer’s conference yesterday in Limerick.

The importance of the shared services sector to the Irish economy was the subject of the conference which was attended by over 50 representatives from some of the world’s largest companies.

Shared service centres (SSC) in Ireland cover payroll, accounts, pensions, property management, procurement and technical support.
