Market continues to slide

LAST week shares in Dublin fell by over 100 points as profit taking occurred on the back of a busy week for interim results.

This decline continued yesterday, with the exchange losing a further 42.95 points to greet the final bell at 7923.63.

The financial sector was heaviest hit, leaking 156.39 points overall.
