A WATERFORD-BASED multi national, mobile communications company is to create 110 jobs, with recruitment already underway.

Rigney Dolphin on the IDA Industrial Estate on Waterford’s Cork Road announced the posts yesterday. The jobs will be for customer services representatives, credit control staff, teleservices personnel and researchers.

Chief executive Dr Frank Dolphin said the job boost follows the signing of a new contract with a leading mobile phone company. The company provides back-up to mobile phone users on everything from retrieving their PIN to technical support.
