Allied Bakeries €8.5m investment

ALLIED BAKERIES Ireland has announced a €8.5m investment in its Belfast operations at Orby Link, creating 18 jobs.

Allied Bakeries are the owner of bread brands including Kingsmill and Sunblest.

The investment includes the purchase of innovative new pancake machinery, which is expected to grow the company’s snacks business and develop the market in Ireland and further afield.
