THE film rental market will be shaken up with the launch of a new on-line film rental company moviestar.ie.

Brothers Gavin and Iain McConnon are investing over €1 million into the business.

The website boasts of unlimited DVD and game rental from €9.99 a month. Online rental has revolutionised the movie market in the US and Britain, and has lead to the demise of the traditional high street video store.
