BizCamp project completed
The unique two-week programme, which was held in association with Dublin City University and supported by Grant Thornton, exposed participants to all aspects of running their own business, including marketing, sales, business ethics and financial management.
The 14 BizCamp participants, aged between 15 and 18, were required to set up and run their own business which provided products from garden ornaments to phone accessories.
Staff from Grant Thornton shared some of their expertise with the budding entrepreneurs and gave tips on how to present their business plans.
