EU played role in WTO failure: Oxfam

EUROPE must accept its role in the five years of failed negotiations at the WTO, according to Oxfam International.

It claimed the EU offers on market access and domestic supports were insufficient to deliver a pro-development outcome and that its “modest CAP reform process” also delayed the talks.

Oxfam blamed intransigence by Europe and the US as the reason for the failure of the talks.
