Irish-US business chiefs honoured

THE top 50 Irish-American achievers are to be recognised at a special Wall Street event, which will be addressed by Senator John McCain.

The July 24 event will include the presentation of the inaugural Wall Street 50 Hall of Fame Award.

The first recipient is Keefe, Bruyette & Woods chief executive John Duffy, in recognition of his stewardship of his firm since 9/11, when the company lost 67 of its 172 employees based in the South Tower.
