Tourism bookings on the rise

GoIreland.com has reported an increase of 60% in tourism bookings for the first half of the year.

Irish holiday makers made up the greatest percentage at 37%. Tourists from Britain made 29% and 15% were from the US.

More than 24,000 bookings, representing 123,550 bed nights valued at almost €4.9m were recorded.
