Australian stocks up

AUSTRALIAN stocks gained, led by Telstra Corp after Citigroup Inc increased its earnings forecasts for Australia’s biggest telephone company.

The S&P/ASX 200 Index increased 12.5, or 0.3%, to 5,104.7 at the 4:15pm close in Sydney.
