GERMANY’S DAX Index reached its highest since May 29, as ThyssenKrupp AG led after announcing plans to buy back as much as 5% of its shares.

The DAX advanced 16.32, or 0.3%, to 5,729.01 as 21 out of 30 stocks rose. DAX futures expiring in September rose 0.4%. The HDAX Index of the country’s 110 biggest companies added 0.3%.
