London City Airport sale

CORPORATE financier Colm Donlon has been given the responsibility of managing the sale of Dermot Desmond’s London City Airport.

The London office of the US-owned investment bank Morgan Stanley has been handling the sale, which is expected to fetch between €500 million and €600m, after attracting an estimated 100-plus offers of interest.

Mr Donlon has made a big splash at Morgan Stanley’s British division, having previously overseen the joint venture between Nokia and Siemens.
