Eircom chief leaves to be IMI chairman

EIRCOM chief executive, Dr Philip Nolan has been appointed chairman of the Irish Management Institute (IMI) for a three-year term.

Dr Nolan, who hails from Co Fermanagh and succeeds former Iona Technologies chief executive Chris Horn in the post, has been a member of the IMI Board since 2003.

Prior to joining Eircom, he held leadership positions at a number of global organisations including BP and British Gas.
