ISEQ still flat as financials rebound
The Dublin Exchange ended trading down 13.86 points at 7289.29.
The Financials rebounded somewhat from the onslaught received the day before. AIB closed 30c higher at €18.20 while rival Bank of Ireland added 7c to €13.70. In the second line, Anglo Irish and Irish Life & Permanent both slipped back further, down 8c and 15c respectively.
In construction, CRH’s recent downward trend continued, as fears from the US remain unabated. The stock was 50c lower at €24.00. Kingspan also lost ground, closing 38c lighter at €13.10.
Elsewhere Greencore climbed 20c to €4.00 after announcing better than expected interim results.
