McMahon buys Northern provider

THE Limerick-based building materials company, McMahon Group has bought Letterkenny-based family owned builders providers James Johnston & Sons Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

James Johnston employs 56 people and supplies the north-west market for building materials, kitchen and bathroom products.

McMahon Group, which reported revenues of €180 million in 2005, now has ten outlets in the South and four in the North of Ireland.
