New tourism strategy group

MARGARET JEFFARES, managing director, Les Routiers Ireland has been assigned to the new Tourism Strategy Implementation Group.

The group will be chaired by John Travers, former chief executive of Forfas, comprise of representatives from industry, state sector and business and continues the work of the Tourism Action Plan Implementation Group — which completed its two-year term in March of this year.
