AIB adds 24c to close up at €18.69

THE ISEQ finished the day in positive territory. The Dublin Exchange was 11.08 points stronger at 7605.86.

Market heavyweight AIB added 24c to its share price finishing up at €18.69. Anglo Irish Bank was unchanged at €12.20. Bank of Ireland was 5c lower on the day at €14.14.

Its results were released yesterday and were just ahead of expectations.

Construction giant CRH dropped 4c to €26.26 at the closing bell. Kingspan group jumped 81c to €13.96. Grafton Group moved 29c forward to €10.30. Readymix shed 5c to €2.26.

Other main movers included Elan who hit €14.88 increasing its share price by 58c. Greencore Group and Kerry Group drifted back 4c and 13c.
