French stocks slide
FRENCH stocks fell amid speculation that interest rates worldwide will rise. Companies most affected by a slowdown in economic growth would include builder Lafarge SA and Schneider Electric SA.
The CAC 40 Index lost 61.51, or 1.3%, to 4870.02.
Futures on the measure expiring in June fell 1.3%. The SBP 120 slid 1.4%.
