CIMA appoints O’Connor president

TOM O’CONNOR has been appointed president of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

A native of Cobh, Co Cork, Mr O’Connor qualified as a CIMA accountant in the late 1970s before moving to the then Telecom Éireann (now Eircom) in Dublin as head of management accounting and has held several senior management positions in the company.
