TELECOMS group Cable & Wireless is introducing a €300 million bonus scheme for its top executives in a bid to revive the company’s fortunes, it emerged yesterday.

The proposed incentive deal, which would be similar to those run by private equity firms, would run for four years.

Under it John Pluthero and Harris Jones, who are managing directors of C&W’s British and international divisions, would receive £22 million each if all targets are hit.
