Irish Express Cargo report losses of less than €2m

THE freight forwarding company Irish Express Cargo saw its losses narrow to just under €2 million in 2003.

Accounts just filed at the Companies Registration Office show that the company lost €1.92m in the year to end March 2003, down from €7.6m the previous year.

Turnover, though, fell by 24% to €102.8m but the loss for the year fell after a €9m decrease in exceptional items.
