TD calls for financial centre

A MAJOR international financial centre similar to the IFSC in Dublin should form a major element of the Cork Docklands regeneration, according to local TD Bernard Allen.

With plans underway to develop large scale centrepiece projects for the area, Mr Allen believes such a centre would vastly enhance Cork’s international standing and promote jobs’ growth in the financial services sector.
