Shares spend for Waterford chief

INCOMING Waterford Wedgwood chief executive Peter Cameron has splashed out €780,000 on shares in the troubled group.

Mr Cameron, who lives in Massachusetts on America’s east coast, takes over from Redmond O’Donoghue when he retires next week after five years in the job.
