Acquisitor ups its stake in Baltimore

BALTIMORE Technologies major shareholder Acquisitor said yesterday it had upped its stake in the former computer security to nearly 29%.

The Bermuda-based investment vehicle said it bought nearly 3% of the company in trading on New Year's Eve.

Baltimore shareholders recently approved motions to delist the company from the London Stock Exchange next month, but it remains the subject of a possible takeover approach from British electronic payments company Earthport.
