First Ireland Spirits wins major award

FIRST IRELAND SPIRITS won the overall SFA national small business award 2006 last night.

The Manufacturing Award went to O’Kelly Sawmills and the Food and Drink Award also went to First Ireland Spirits.

The Services Award went to Arguscarhire.com and the outstanding small business award went to James Whelan Butchers.

The Wine Buff received a highly-commended award in this category.

The best trainer award went to Ian O’Sullivan, director of i-to-i Ireland.

Innovator of the year went to Cork-based biotechnology company, Luxcel Biosciences.
