A MAJOR seminar designed to give insights into doing business with China is to take place on October 20, in Dublin’s Berkeley Court Hotel.

China Business Insights 2005 is coordinated by the Ireland China Association and will have speakers from a wide spectrum of areas including Alan Buckley, Enterprise Ireland’s Director in China, and Li Zhuangfei the deputy general manager of the Bank of China in London.

Figures for last year showed Ireland’s exports to China increased by 283% and imports from China grew by 215% compared with 2000, with total bilateral trade reaching €3,478m last year.
