RDS Plan Expo to draw 7,000 visitors

OVER 7,000 visitors are expected to pave their way through the Plan Expo showcase for the built environment, which opens today in the RDS where it will run for three days.

Endorsed by the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) and the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland (RIAI), Plan Expo brings together over 250 exhibitors offering new products and pioneering construction techniques.

Construction in Ireland is a €28 billion industry employing 12% of the workforce. The CIF expects construction activity to grow by 3% in volume this year in Ireland.
