Eircom service aims to cut bills

EIRCOM announced details of a new service yesterday which it claims will reduce business and private phone bills by up to 35%.

The service, called Talktime, comes into operation on June 1. Talktime for business is primarily aimed at SME customers.

Eircom Retail managing director Cathal Magee said it will also be cheaper than mobile packages because of its cheaper call prices.
