DUTCH firm Q-Park will invest 60 million in Ireland following the acquisition of Future Parking Services yesterday.

The firm, which builds and managers car parks, said that it will be expanding the number of car parks it owns in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Laois and Kilkenny.

Q-Park did not disclose the value of the takeover, but it may have cost the Dutch company several million euros.
