Technology shares help CAC up

FRENCH stocks rose, paced by technology-related shares, including Alcatel and STMicroelectronics.

Oil refiner Total gained as crude oil traded close to $61 a barrel in New York.

The benchmark CAC 40 Index rose 29.84, or 0.7%, to 4343.62 in Paris, gaining for a third day in four.

The SBF 120 Index advanced 0.7%, to 3110.88.
