Boeing chief executive Harry Stonecipher said he plans to “raise the rhetoric” on the long-time dispute over what he says are government subsidies given to European plane-maker Airbus SAS.

“We will raise the rhetoric on that subject because we’re kind of sick and tired of it. It’s gone on long enough,” Stonecipher said at a meeting with investors in New York.

Boeing and Airbus have been fighting over which company is taking more advantage of government money, as Boeing uses government-funded Japanese suppliers to build its new 7E7 plane while Airbus gets guaranteed loans from European governments.
