IN&M move into Indian market

INDEPENDENT NEWS & MEDIA has been given the go ahead by the Indian government to acquire a 26% stake in Hindi newspaper Jagran.

The Indian government approved the deal on Saturday and marks the first move into newspaper market there for the Irish company.
