Job website to join European alliance

IN a major strategic initiative, RecruitIreland.com will give Irish employers access to four million pan-European jobseekers.

The online recruitment group is a founding partner in ‘European Recruitment Alliance’, formed to deliver the service for jobseekers as well as employers.

This initiative, conducted in collaboration with other leading European jobsites, means Irish employers will be offered direct access to an enlarged recruitment target market.

Other members involved in the initiative include

Jobsite, Britain’s leading internet recruitment service, Cadremploi (France), InfoEmpleo (Spain), Jobscout24 (Germany) and TrovoJobs (Italy). Total turnover last year was €30 million.

Members share a belief in matching the right candidates to the right jobs and all enjoy very high brand recognition in their home market. RecruitIreland.com managing director Tom Crosbie said: “Our decision to join the alliance was a carefully planned and strategic one.”

Employers seeking candidates across Europe have been given the opportunity to supplement their traditional search channels with a unique partnership, said Mr Crosbie.

Each site will provide an international section, with information and links to each of the partner sites.

Through the alliance, the group will offer its Irish client base a country and cultural specific recruitment resource across Europe’s most important markets, Mr Crosbie said.
