New deal tops up Meteor's coverage

METEOR plans to step up the competition in the mobile phone market after signing a deal with a rival operator to give it nationwide network coverage.
New deal tops up Meteor's coverage

Meteor covers 90% of the country, but the deal will allow its customers to roam on the O2 network where it has yet to roll out its own service.

The deal will see O2 provide Meteor with national roaming services in parts of Kerry, Donegal, Mayo, Cavan, Sligo and Leitrim, Limerick, Galway, Cork, Roscommon, Longford, and Clare. It does not cover Limerick City, Cork City or Galway City where Meteor has full coverage on its own network.
