The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland yesterday announced the findings of a Disciplinary Tribunal held at the Institute on April 21, 2004.

The tribunal found John Derivan, a member of the Institute practicing in Dublin, failed to satisfy a judgment debt registered against him on May 29, 2003 in favour of the Collector General in the amount of €48,868.67 in contravention of Chapter IX of ICAI bye-laws.

The tribunal ordered that the member be reprimanded and pay costs of €4,154.
