West Link traffic increases by 10%

Traffic on the West Link toll bridge increased by 10% in the second quarter of the year with up to 100,000 vehicles per day passing the road, its operators NTR said.

“We are pleased with the increase in traffic volume at West Link and will continue to develop the Eazy Pass service as a way of further improving throughput,” said Tony McClafferty, NTR’s Road Division managing director.

NTR said that 60,000 customers have joined the Eazy Pass electronic toll collection system, with 38% of vehicles using the service during peak hours.
