A&L Goodbody tops M&A activity table

A&L Goodbody has been ranked as the top law firm for Irish merger and acquisition (M&A) activity.

The findings of a survey published yesterday by Thomson Financial in Britain, reveal that A&L Goodbody completed a total of 31 qualifying M&A deals in 2004 valued at €2.9 billion.

In addition to topping the table for Irish M&A activity, A&L Goodbody was also ranked as the top Irish firm for cross-border M&A deals in the Thomson survey, being the only Irish firm ranked in the top 15 law firms for European M&A transactions and in the top 25 law firms for global M&A deals.
