Siemens has plenty of spark with 39% rise

The company’s Irish operations, which employ 800 people in Cork, Dublin and Belfast, contributed sales of €180m and profits of almost €7m to the total.

Siemens Ireland chief executive Lorenz Zimmermann said he was “very pleased” with the results and the company had seen strong growth in orders for new business during the year.
