Jobs advertised in February up 24%

Dublin: The number of jobs advertised in the national daily and Sunday newspapers for the month of February is up 24% over the same month last year, according to the Bank of Ireland Business Banking monthly job index.

In total, 19,060 recruitment advertisements appeared during February 2004. The healthcare sector reversed recent declines with 46% more jobs advertised last month than in February 2003.
