New chairman for Advance Learning

Advance Learning, the Galway- based provider of online and interactive IT Training and multimedia products and services has announced the appointment of Fred Perkins as its new chairman of its board of directors.

He has worked at director level for The Financial Times, McGraw- Hill Publishing, and Citibank.

He sits on the executive of the Broadband Stakeholder Group, a government/industry partnership driving Britain’s broadband strategy. He is also chairman of the Electronic Publishers Forum of the Publishers Association.
