Sky News Ireland has added six new people to its staff, bringing the total to 30.

The Dublin arm of the Rupert Murdoch-controlled British news station has recruited new technical and production staff.

Sky Ireland director Mark Deering said: “the expansion of the service confirms Sky Ireland’s commitment to providing a quality service to our viewers.”
