COVERT promoter Denis Desmond has teamed up with Clear Channel to mount a bid for Vince Power’s Mean Fiddler music group.

Clear Channel is the world’s largest concert promoter, while Mr Desmond owns 35% of Mean Fiddler share.

The two companies will spend £12.9 million through their Hamsard investment vehicle to buy out Mr Power, who set up Mean Fiddler in London more than 20 years ago.
