European exit adds to Celtic’s E9m loss

The club said yesterday that full-year revenues tumbled 10% to E91.5m suffered in the second half of the year as the club hosted four fewer Scottish Premier League games at Parkhead and paid the price for being knocked out of European competition at an early stage.

Second-half revenues in the previous year had benefited from a run in the UEFA Cup, Europe’s secondary club competition.
