WRI acquires WorldRes

ONLINE hotel booking firm Web Reservations International (WRI) has acquired American firm WorldRes. Terms of the transaction between the two privately held companies were not disclosed.

The acquisition brings more than 35,000 hotels and 2,000 websites in 160 countries, as well as online travel agents, tourist boards and destination management companies, to the Web Reservations platform.
