Scottish Radio buys FM104

Dublin: The takeover of Dublin local music station FM104 cleared its final hurdle yesterday when the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment confirmed she had decided not to raise any concerns over the transaction.

Richard Findlay, chief executive of FM104’s new owner, Scottish Radio Holdings, said: “I am delighted that we have received approval for our acquisition of FM104, which will be a perfect complement to our Irish national station, Today FM.
