44% increase in Trintech revenues

Payment processing company Trintech generated revenues of $15.1 million (€11.6 million) in the three months to October, a 44% increase on the same period last year.

It said yesterday that third-quarter net income was $434,000. Revenue for the nine months to October was 32% ahead at $40.7 million.

"Performance across product and licence was ahead of expectations, with Chip and PIN and treasury and cash management solutions contributing strongly to the underlying growth," said chairman and chief executive Cyril McGuire.
