THE board of South Western Services of Bandon meets today to decide the fate of the company.

At this stage, three of the five co-ops, including Dairygold, Drinagh and Lidavaird, have voted in favour of the €64 million on offer from IAWS Co-op for its financial and energy divisions.

That represents six votes out of a maximum of eight, and even if Bandon and Barryroe were to go against the deal, it looks to be over the line.
