NYMEX ends trading in Dublin

TRADING on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) in Dublin will come to an end next week.

NYMEX opened a futures and commodity market trading floor in Dublin less than a year ago and open floor trading will now switch to London.

Despite a promising start, volumes in Dublin failed to live up to expectations and have slowed to a trickle since Christmas.
